  • From London and the East: take the M40 westbound leaving at Junction 8, then follow the A40 to the Headington Roundabout. Go straight over towards Headington/City Centre/Hospitals and follow signs for the Churchill Hospital.
  • From the North: take the M40 southbound leaving at Junction 9 onto the A34. Come off the A34 at the Oxford Ring Road following A40 eastbound (signposted London) to the Headington Roundabout. At the roundabout take the 4th exit towards Headington/City Centre/Hospitals and follow signs for the Churchill Hospital.
  • From the West: either (1) follow the A420 from Swindon to the Oxford Ring Road and take the Ring Road around the south of Oxford following signs for London or (2) follow the M4 eastbound exiting at Junction 13 onto the A34 northbound which brings you to the Oxford Ring Road where you should again follow signs for London. In either case at the Headington Roundabout take the 1st exit towards Headington/City Centre/Hospitals and follow signs for the Churchill Hospital.
  • From the South: take the A34 northbound to the Oxford Ring Road where you should follow signs for London. At the Headington Roundabout take the 1st exit towards Headington/City Centre/Hospitals and follow signs for the Churchill Hospital.

There is very limited parking at the Old Road Campus so please use alternative means of transport if at all possible. It is not possible to reserve a parking space before you arrive. There are only 8 visitor's parking spaces at the Old Road Campus so it likely that they will all be in use. To use one of these spaces you must get a Visitor's Parking Permit from Reception on arrival. In addition there are a few 20-minute parking bays which need no permit but clamping will be enforced after the 20 minutes have elapsed. All parking bays are marked on the Old Road Campus map on our Maps page. All other parking bays are for staff and are usually full by 9.30am. If you can find a free bay around the Campus, then you can park there for an indefinite period of time but you must get a Visitors Parking Permit from Reception.

Street parking near to STRUBI is difficult since many streets are restricted to residents' parking only. There are, however, some Pay & Display City Council car parks off the London Road by the Headington shops and off Windmill Road. From these it is about 10-15 minutes walk to the Old Road Campus. These car parks are also marked on the Old Road Campus map on our Maps page.
