Structural Studies of Signalling Complexes

About me

I have a PhD in Structural Biology from ICGEB, New Delhi, INDIA. I have worked extensively on targeted drug-discovery for malaria with a special focus on the prolyl-tRNA synthetase enzyme. After completing my PhD, I joined Prof. Jones's group in early 2017 as a postdoc and where later I was awarded the EMBO Long-Term fellowship from EMBO for two years. The focus of my research here is to elucidate the role of Neuropilins in determining the outcome of the Semaphorin-Plexin Signalling with a specific focus on the neuro-immune axis. I employ a multidisciplinary approach, integrating structural and biophysical techniques with cellular studies to obtain structural and functional insights into this signalling in immune trafficking and during an immune response.
