Structural Studies of Signalling Complexes

About me

I have a PhD in Structural Biology from ICGEB, New Delhi, INDIA. I have worked extensively on the targetted drug discovery for malaria with a special focus on the prolyl-tRNA synthetase enzyme. After completing the PhD, I joined Prof. Yvonne Jones's group in January of 2017 as a postdoc and was later awarded the EMBO Long-Term fellowship. The focus of my research here is to elucidate the role of Neuropilins in determining the outcome of the Semaphorin-Plexin Signalling with a specific focus on the neuro-immune axis. I employ a multidisciplinary approach, integrating structural and biophysical techniques with cellular studies.
