Research Overview

The Division of Structural Biology (STRUBI) undertakes a challenging and varied plan of research to study the structure and function of proteins, protein assemblies and viruses. It primarily uses the techniques of macromolecular crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy using both synchrotron light sources and state-of-the-art facilities in the laboratory.

The Division is home to more than 70 researchers divided into 11 research groupings. An overview of the research interests of these different groups can be found by exploring the navigation menu on the right.
