Patrik Flammer is a DPhil student reading for Clinical Medicine. He applies cryo-electron tomography techniques to study the intercellular transport of retroviruses.

Dr Christoph Hagen is a senior post doc. His expertise includes cryo-electron microscopy/tomography of vitreous sections (CEMOVIS), cell culture and live cell imaging (Apotome). He is currently involved in a project elucidating ultrastructural details of the egress of the Herpes simplex virus from its host cell.

Dr Iosune Ibiricu is a post-doc studying selected aspects of Herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) life cycle by cryo-electron tomography.

Dr Tzviya Zeev-Ben-Mordehai is a post-doc researcher. Her research is focused on the molecular mechanisms of fusion proteins using mainly cryo electron tomography. She has a strong background in protein biophysics and in x-ray crystallography and scattering.
